Breast Uplift Mastopexy is the term given to the Cosmetic Surgery procedure of elevating the breast and modelling the shape. Various techniques have been designed to obtain this objective, and in some cases the procedure is complemented by introducing breast implants to give a little volume.

Medical Philosophy

Medical Philosophy Droopy, ptotic, with ptosis, low positioned, flaccid, empty or saggy breasts are inevitable with the passing of the years, pre-empted perhaps by factors such as the constitution of the body or accelerated by certain processes. This is certainly the condition that causes most personal dissatisfaction in women in relation to their breasts. Some pregnancies, considerable variation in weight and aging all contribute towards the breasts losing their youthful appearance.

Fortunately, nowadays it is possible to tauten and elevate the breasts at any stage of sagging or flaccidity, correcting the position and size of the areola and nipple, eliminating the excess skin and, if considered necessary, complementing the treatment with a breast enlargement. This is a very interesting option, because it is normal for breasts to require elevation and tautening with an increase in volume, simultaneously, all under the same treatment. In many cases of light sagging of breasts and considerable excess of skin, an appropriate result can be achieved only applying an implant to the breasts, which produces the desired effect of a rejuvenated bust. Our Plastic Surgeons study each individual case of breast elevation in order to apply the most appropriate and effective technique.

Indications

Surgery to raise the breasts, place the nipples placed in their original position, reduce the areolas if necessary, remove excess of skin, transforming the rectangular and flattened structure of the breasts in a conical and rounded shape, correcting the effects of pregnancy, weight loss and aging. Inevitably there are inverted T scars (anchor) or vertical and a loss at least 20% of the breast volume, so that many patients need to add breast implants to fill the cleavage and upper breast. Patients requiring breast augmentation must add breast uplift to the Augmentation Mammaplasty they want. The repair of multioperated breasts lie within the Secondary or Revision Mammaplasty group of treatments.

This information is indicative only and does not represent an obligation with customers. This technical datasheet is based in statistical means for large groups of patients, with the variability that implies. Medicine and Surgery are not exact Sciences so it is not possible to stablish the most suitable management for each individual case until the moment the Specialist can evaluate the patient. One medical and/or surgical process can't be predictable 100%, so our Medical Team could modify the management plan at any time, based on the requirements that could be considered as necessary.
